Find me a boat
Tap once. BOWTT looks for an available boat and captain that suits your trip, so you do not need to negotiate with anyone.
STEP 03
Boat found
See your captain, boat, rating and fare, then call or message to meet at the pickup jetty.
STEP 04
Board and go
Meet your captain, board, and follow your trip on the map as you travel across the water.
STEP 05
Arrive and rate
When the trip is completed, rate your captain and boat. Captains rate passengers too, so everyone travels with confidence.
Your choices
Travel the way that suits you.
Fast or Standard
Fast boats are the quickest way across. Standard boats are a more affordable local option. Accept either and BOWTT finds whichever is available first.
Shared or Private
Share a boat and pay per person, or keep the boat for your group with a private trip.
Jetty to jetty
Every trip runs between BOWTT boarding jetties, so the pickup point is always clear to you and to the captain.

Prefer a traditional dhow over a transport boat? Bowtt Sail lets you book a Kasa or Jahazi sunset cruise, shared or private.

Only completed trips can be rated, from one to five stars. Passengers and captains build a reputation over time, and experienced captains are recognised for consistently good service.
